What is Injury Recall Technique (IRT)?

IRT is a specialized chiropractic method designed to address the lingering effects of past injuries that may continue to disrupt the body’s function and movement patterns. Developed to help the body “let go” of the memory of trauma, IRT focuses on resetting the neurological pathways that hold onto these old injury patterns.

When an injury occurs, the body often develops protective reflexes that can persist long after the physical tissues have healed. These lingering patterns can lead to chronic pain, limited range of motion, and other dysfunctions. IRT employs gentle stimulation of specific reflex points to “reset” these neurological pathways, effectively removing the imprint of the old injury from the nervous system.

This technique is particularly beneficial for individuals who have experienced repetitive injuries, chronic pain, or persistent discomfort that hasn’t fully resolved with other treatments. By clearing these old injury memories, IRT helps restore normal movement patterns and enhances overall physical function and well-being.
