COMPREHENSIVE INTEGRATIVE HEALTH CARE

A broader view of your health. A clearer path forward.

Comprehensive Integrative Health Care is our primary pathway for new clients and the fullest expression of how we approach care at Hutchins Integrative Health.

It is designed for people with multiple or persistent concerns, complex health histories, symptoms that haven't been fully explained, or anyone who wants to take a more comprehensive and proactive look at their health.

We bring together your history, examination, current symptoms, previous injuries, lifestyle, available laboratory and diagnostic information, and your response to treatment to develop a coherent understanding of what appears most important in your case.

The goal is not to find more things wrong with you. It's to understand the relationships that matter and determine what we can meaningfully address.

A COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT

Look broadly. Identify what matters.

Your health doesn't exist in separate compartments. Structural function, neurological patterns, metabolism, hormones, nutrition, digestion, sleep, stress, previous injuries and other aspects of your health can influence one another.

That doesn't mean every factor is relevant to every problem.

Our job is to consider the broader picture, determine which relationships appear meaningful in your case, and then focus our clinical work where it can be most useful.

Depending on your concerns, your assessment may include:

Structural & Musculoskeletal Function
Spine, pelvis, extremities, muscle function, movement, cranial relationships and the effects of current or previous injuries.

Neurological & Regulatory Function
Functional neurological patterns, coordination, balance and other findings that may influence how your system is functioning and adapting.

Metabolic, Hormonal & Nutritional Health
Blood sugar regulation, cardiovascular risk, thyroid and hormone health, nutritional status and other physiological factors when relevant.

Digestive & Immune Health
Digestive function, inflammation, immune patterns and related concerns when they are part of your health picture.

Stress, Recovery & Lifestyle
Sleep, physical activity, recovery, stress physiology and the circumstances of your life that may be influencing your health.

We look broadly enough to recognize important relationships—then narrow our focus to what deserves attention.

Assessment and treatment begin together.

Your initial Comprehensive Integrative Health Care visit is 60 minutes.

We begin by listening carefully to your history, current concerns, goals, previous care and the larger context of your health. Your examination then follows what we learn rather than relying on the same predetermined assessment for everyone.

An important focus of the first visit is identifying and addressing higher-level distortion patterns that may be influencing how your system is functioning. We then work through the structural, muscular, neurological and other relevant findings that emerge as those patterns are addressed.

Treatment begins during this first visit. We continually reassess important findings as we work, using your response to help determine what to address next.

After the visit, Dr. Hutchins reviews and integrates the important information from your history, examination, available laboratory or diagnostic information and your response to treatment to prepare your personalized Clinical Assessment & Care Plan.

Your first visit isn't simply about collecting information. It's the beginning of understanding how your system is functioning—and changing what we can.

YOUR SECOND VISIT

See what changed. Determine where to go next.

Your second Comprehensive visit is an important continuation of both your assessment and your treatment.

We begin by assessing your response to the initial treatment and determining where the system has shifted. This gives us valuable information about what has changed, what remains important and where we need to focus our clinical work next.

We then treat the findings that are now present, allowing your care to evolve based on your actual response rather than simply repeating the first treatment.

During this visit, we also review your personalized Clinical Assessment & Care Plan, bring together the important findings and priorities we've identified, answer your questions and establish the appropriate direction for ongoing care.

The second visit allows us to see what changed, understand what your body is showing us now, and determine the most useful next step.

ONGOING CARE

Care that evolves with you.

After your foundational Comprehensive visits, ongoing care is based on what we've learned, your goals and your response to treatment.

Some concerns benefit from a period of more consistent care. Others may require only occasional follow-up, additional investigation, laboratory testing, lifestyle or nutritional strategies, or collaboration with another healthcare provider.

As your health and function change, we reassess. The focus of care can change too.

There is no predetermined schedule that applies to everyone. The goal is to provide the care that is useful, for as long as it is useful.
